getting there is half the part

So after the longest flight of my life we finally arrived in London.
After waiting a while for the bus to come pick us up, we went to the flat to check in. Each flat has about 5 or 6 rooms (similar to a hotel room) with one bed, desk, mini fridge, and bathroom. The funny thing about this bathroom is the toilet is in the shower, and the flusher for the toilet is on the wall.

After checking in, we (the class) took a "tour" of the area that we are staying in. We got our oyster cards (which allows us to ride the underground and also the buses), changed all of our American money over to euros. Dr. Noble showed us where the grocery store is at and where the hardware store is.

After our "tour" Victoria and I went to find the cell phone store and I surprised Mom with a phone call! :) Then we went grocery shopping where I got to spend my first euros! (I felt like a kid pulling out purple dollar bills LOL) Victoria and I came back to our flat and cooked dinner.
After unsuccessfully trying to get our tv to work properly we went down to starbucks and connected to the internet and after that we just chilled at our flat.

I love and miss you all!

(picture taken while walking across the bridge to get to the cell phone store. I had just said that I didnt feel like I was in London because I hadn't seen anything too exciting. Then we cross the bridge and I see this!!)
